MoOngy is hiring a Mid-Level Java Full-Stack Engineer (Backend Focus) to join its Lisbon team. The role blends backend Java/Spring work with cloud-based services, DBs, and BPMN-like technologies, in a hybrid model with two days onsite in Lisbon.

You will work with Java, Spring, Kubernetes, Docker, and related tools, while collaborating across international teams to deliver scalable software solutions.

Qualificações

• Degree in Software Engineering or similar field.
• Good experience writing clean, maintainable code using OOP and design patterns.
• Strong understanding of the Java ecosystem.
• Experience with Web Services and UML modelling.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud environments.

The Role: Mid-Level Java Full-Stack Engineer (Backend Focus)

Work Model:

2 days a week onsite - Lisbon

Languages:

English (B2 - C1), French (is a plus)

Eligibility:

Currently living in Portugal and be legally authorized to work there

• Degree in Software Engineering or similar field
• Good experience writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using OOP concepts and design patterns
• Strong understanding of the Java ecosystem
• Experience with Web Services and software modelling (UML)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud environments

You´ll be working with:

• Strong experience with Java and Spring in cloud-based environments
• Solid knowledge of JPA/Hibernate, SQL, and relational databases
• Experience with BPMN technologies
• Familiarity with Angular or similar frontend frameworks
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Docker, Git, Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Maven, JUnit, CI/CD, Kubernetes
• Exposure to MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch
• Working knowledge of Python and/or Kotlin
