MoOngy, a Portugal-based engineering and IT group, is seeking a Business Analyst for a hybrid role (2 days in office) to bridge business and technology in an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate will translate business needs into epics and user stories, collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams, and drive data-driven decisions using KPIs. Eligibility requires living in Portugal and legal work authorization.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile environment.
• Requirements elicitation, process analysis, data modelling, translating business needs into epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Story mapping, feature mapping, business data modelling and requirements traceability.
• Experience with software delivery lifecycle, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, release management and production support.

Responsabilidades

• Define and translate business needs into requirements, create epics and user stories, define acceptance criteria and maintain traceability.
• Support product discovery and delivery, including user research, problem discovery, solution discovery, backlog refinement, prioritisation, MVP scope and release planning.
• Analyse business processes and data, define business data models, validate test cases, conduct FAT/UAT, monitor production, analyse incidents and track KPIs.
• Coordinate with technical and business stakeholders, assess solution feasibility and technical risk, coordinate deployment schedules and ensure documentation is complete.

The Role: Business Analyst

Work Model: hybrid - 2 days a week in the office

Eligibility: Currently living in Portugal and be legally authorized to work there

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile environment, working closely with Product Managers/Owners and Scrum Masters;
• Requirements elicitation, process analysis, data modelling, translating business needs into epics, user stories and acceptance criteria;
• Story mapping, feature mapping, business data modelling and requirements traceability;
• Experience with software delivery lifecycle, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, release management and production support;
• Experience collaborating with Solution/Technical Architects, UX Designers, Software Engineers and DevOps Engineers;
• Financial services or banking knowledge;
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, using data and KPIs to support decisions;
• Communication and facilitation skills, interacting with business and technical stakeholders at different levels;
• Hands-on, business-oriented mindset, with the ability to challenge stakeholders constructively and co-design solutions.

Nice to have:

• French;
• Financial/wealth/asset management experience, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or related field.
