HN Services Portugal seeks an IT Contracts & Software Asset Management Officer to join our international banking environment in Lisbon. You will support SAM, software compliance, licence optimization and contract management activities.

The role involves collaborating with international teams across Lisbon, Paris, Singapore and Chennai, as well as Group Procurement and software resellers. Evidence gathering, licensing audits and reporting are key duties.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years of professional IT experience.
• Experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of software licensing, contracts and licence management.
• Experience with Power BI is a plus.
• Experience in multicultural and international environments.

Responsabilidades

• Support SAM governance, rules and processes for software assets.
• Collect, analyse and validate software usage and evidence.
• Validate purchases: contracts, POs, invoices and maintenance.
• Serve as first contact for software purchases with Group Procurement.
• Monitor licensing compliance and prevent over-licensing.
• Identify optimisation opportunities and potential transfers.
• Follow up on actions for uninstallation, transfers or purchases.
• Analyse software contracts for licensing metrics and requirements.
• Maintain documentation on usage, purchases and compliance actions.
• Prepare SAM reporting with summaries and key points.
• Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for an IT Contracts & Software Asset Management Officer to join an international banking environment, supporting Software Asset Management (SAM), software compliance, licence optimization and contract management activities. The role involves working closely with international teams across Lisbon, Paris, Singapore and Chennai, as well as Group Procurement and software resellers.

Professional Experience & Main Tasks

• Ensure the deployment and application of Group governance and rules for Software Asset Management (SAM).
• Collect and analyse evidence of software usage, both through Group inventories and local inventories.
• Collect and validate evidence of software purchases, including contracts, amendments, purchase orders, invoices and maintenance payments.
• Act as a first point of contact for software purchases, liaising with Group Procurement and Group resellers.
• Monitor software compliance, ensuring software usage does not exceed purchased licences.
• Identify opportunities for software optimization, including unused licences and potential licence transfers.
• Follow up on action plans related to uninstallation, licence transfers or new purchases.
• Analyse software contracts and extract relevant information regarding licensing metrics, purchase rules and specific requirements.
• Maintain documentation covering software usage, purchases, maintenance payments and compliance actions.
• Prepare SAM reporting, including management summaries, statistics and key attention points.
• Provide information and analysis regarding software usage, purchases and applicable licensing rules.
• Work closely with international and multicultural teams and different stakeholders.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in IT.
• Previous experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of software licensing, contracts and licence management.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
