Claranet Portugal in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking an Infrastructure Systems Administrator to join our Talent Team on a hybrid work model (1 day onsite). You will administer, monitor, and maintain enterprise infrastructure, virtualization platforms, and network security to support critical services.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with VMware or Hyper-V, Windows and/or Linux servers, and strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs).

• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).
• Experience managing firewalls and network security solutions.
• Strong knowledge of server administration in datacenter environments.
• Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in enterprise environments.

Your responsibilities include:

Administer, maintain, and support enterprise infrastructure environments.

Manage and maintain virtualization platforms and related services.

Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot firewalls and network infrastructure.

Administer Windows and/or Linux servers in datacenter environments.

Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.

Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and improvement projects.

Ensure compliance with security and operational best practices.

Collaborate with technical teams to support business-critical services.

You must have:

Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or Infrastructure Administrator.

Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).

Experience managing firewalls and network security solutions.

Strong knowledge of server administration in datacenter environments.

Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux.

Knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.

Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in enterprise environments.
