Job summary

A2it Tecnologia in Lisbon is seeking a Senior IT Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to design, automate, and manage modern cloud environments, ensuring secure, scalable production systems.

The role operates in a hybrid model with 2–3 days on-site in Lisbon, collaborating with development teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions and drive DevOps practices across the stack.

Qualifications

• Experience administering IT infrastructure in cloud and on-prem environments.
• Proven ability to design scalable, secure infrastructure for production.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and Agile methods.
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows server administration.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, OpenShift, Jenkins, GitLab, and related tools.
• Experience with monitoring/observability and IT risk & security.

Responsibilities

• Define and promote technical infrastructure solutions.
• Integrate infrastructure and production requirements into Agile backlogs.
• Support development teams in delivering secure, scalable solutions.
• Implement infrastructure and operational automation.
• Manage, maintain, and improve production environments.
• Monitor services for high availability and performance.
• Participate in incident management and production support.
• Conduct security reviews and IT risk assessments.
• Create and maintain operational/technical documentation.
• Drive DevOps best practices and continuous improvement.
• Train and support teams on infrastructure and production standards.

We’re looking for a Senior IT Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to join a challenging project, playing a key role in designing, automating, and managing modern cloud infrastructure while ensuring secure, scalable, and highly available production environments.

Work Model: Hybrid - 2 to 3 days per week onsite in Lisbon.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and promote technical infrastructure solutions;
• Integrate infrastructure and production requirements into Agile project backlogs;
• Support development teams in delivering secure, scalable, and reliable solutions;
• Implement infrastructure and operational automation;
• Manage, maintain, and continuously improve production environments;

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote DevOps best practices;
