Job summary

Claranet Portugal is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a client in the public sector, based in Cascais. The role focuses on automating infrastructure, building CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring reliable, secure systems across Linux and Windows environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Systems Administrator or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and scripting languages (Shell, PowerShell or Python).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment processes.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of monitoring and observability tools.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and configuration management practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities
