Claranet Limited in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our internal team. You will manage Windows servers, VMware hosts, and deploy applications across our infrastructure to ensure security, reliability and performance.

You will script automation with PowerShell, monitor systems, maintain documentation, and collaborate with IT colleagues to support cross‑departmental projects. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain Windows Servers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• VMware Administration: Manage and optimize VMware hosts, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell and VBScript to automate repetitive tasks and streamline processes.
• Application Deployment: Oversee the deployment of applications, ensuring correct installation and configuration on servers.
• System Monitoring: Continuously monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Security Management: Ensure systems are secure by implementing and maintaining security policies, patches, and updates.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT professionals and departments to support IT projects and initiatives.
