Job summary

Amadeus is seeking an Implementation Associate Consultant to support new and existing customers in integrating Amadeus products. You will gather requirements, run client workshops, design solution architectures, and lead client playbacks.

• Technical background enabling effective communication with developers and participation in product configuration.
• Experience gathering and documenting customer or business requirements.
• Fluency in English and willingness to travel across EMEA.
• Willingness and ability to work from the office four days per week.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements including functional, non-functional, and system integration needs.
• Conduct client workshops to understand solutions and analyze customer systems.
• Design BPMN, use cases, and scenarios; validate with the development team.
• Produce Business Solution Architecture/High-Level Design and identify gaps.
• Prepare and lead client playbacks; coordinate configuration activities and initial testing.
• Support developers with technical specs and feature tests; configure workflows and monitor software (Inspector).
• Lead acceptance testing, negative tests, and stress tests with customers to go live.
• Provide training to key users; deliver project documentation and configuration manuals.
• Manage integration schedule and enable early live support and handover to maintenance.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency.

Job Title

Implementation Associate Consultant

Summary of the role:
We are looking for a person who will support new/existing customers in the integration of Amadeus products or solutions.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Requirements gathering, including functional requirements, non-functional requirements, and system integration requirements
• Conduct workshops with clients to understand and discuss the solution. Analyze customer systems and service requirements.
• Design BPMN, Use cases and Scenarios and validate them with development team
• Produce the Business Solution Architecture/High-Level Design, identifying the gap for Amadeus products and for a bespoke solution
• Prepare and lead the playbacks with the client.
• Support developers for the technical specification and initial tests of features
• Configuration of software components: workflows and business rules and Configuration of monitor software applications (like Inspector app)
• Works using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support/influence area decisions. Makes recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing different sources of information.
  Lead the customer to have the key users accept the solution to Go Live by having the customer do acceptance tests, negative tests, stress tests, etc
• Training key users
• Deliver project documentation, including training manuals and configuration documentation
• Establish and manage the product/solution integration schedule.
• Early live support and handover to support and maintenance
• Identify possible process improvement alongside FICs activities to generate more efficiency and time reduction

About Ideal Candidate:

• First experience in a Functional Consultant, Implementation Consultant, Business Analyst or similar customer-facing technology role
• A technical background or technical understanding that allows you to communicate effectively with developers and participate in product configuration activities
• Experience gathering and documenting customer or business requirements
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with customers
• A strong customer-focused mindset
• Experience working with Jira or similar task/requirements management tools
• Professional fluency in English
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently across EMEA, depending on customer and project requirements
• Ability to work from the office four days per week, as hands-on testing and validation in the laboratory environment are an important part of the role
