Job summary
Swisscom’s Lisbon expansion is hiring an AI Platform Engineer to join the Ephor team. The role is hands-on, focusing on platform operations, automation, and release validation, with a strong growth path toward DevOps, SRE and test-automation practices.
You will help keep the platform stable, build automated tests and ensure safe production launches. You will collaborate daily with colleagues in Switzerland, India and the US, participate in 24/7 on-call duties when required, and engage in shaping
Qualifications
- 2–5 years in DevOps, platform engineering, or release engineering.
- Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
- Programming in Python or Go.
- Experience with CI/CD and GitOps tools (GitLab, Argo CD).
- Professional English (B2) and cross-location collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate the lab, testing and pre-production environments.
- Monitor platform health and define/meet service-level objectives (SLOs).
- Troubleshoot issues affecting platform functionality and tests.
- Validate and promote changes across environments to production.
- Develop and improve automated testing and release-validation capabilities.
- Support release activities and on-call duties.
- Collaborate daily with Switzerland, India and US teams.
