Job summary

pofft Technology Inc. in Lisbon is hiring an AI Platform Engineer to build and operate cloud infrastructure for an internal AI tooling suite.

You will design the AWS foundation, implement secure patterns, automate deployments, and manage multi-environment delivery with observability and cost control. You will collaborate with Swisscom-related teams, ensure compliance, and grow internal know-how by pairing with cloud and DevOps specialists, while supporting production operations and incident

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on AWS engineering experience.
• Infrastructure as code, cloud networking, IAM, secrets and encryption.
• Containers, serverless services or managed application runtimes.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision and operate AWS infrastructure for the AI tooling suite.
• Implement secure network patterns, identity integration, IAM and secrets management.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with automated tests and controlled production promotion.
• Manage development, staging and production environments and release practices.
• Implement structured logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards and alerting.
• Define service-level indicators for availability, latency and cost; handle incidents.
• Operate model access, quotas, guardrails and runtime policies; support versioning.
• Support security reviews, threat modelling and audits in line with standards.
• Collaborate with cloud/DevOps specialists and contribute reusable platform capabilities.
• Participate in on-call or production support once in operation.
