Swisscom’s Lisbon expansion is hiring a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and operate Infrastructure as Code for the TelcoCloud IaaS layer. You will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines on GitLab CI and engineer services including IAM, Vault, Zabbix and HA clusters.

You will manage Linux systems, KVM virtualization, secrets management, and configuration management with Puppet or Ansible, while ensuring robust monitoring, backups and automation with Python and Bash.

Formación

• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps/IT infrastructure.
• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong Linux systems experience (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Solid networking basics (DNS, DHCP, LDAP, routing).
• Advanced Python and Bash coding skills; maintainable code.
• Git in a team-based workflow (GitLab CI).
• Willingness for 24/7 on-call rotation and occasional travel to Switzerland.
• German skills are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement and operate Infrastructure as Code for TelcoCloud IaaS.
• Evaluate options, define patterns, and scale enabler services.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI.
• Engineer and operate IAM, Vault, Zabbix, Bacula, and HA clusters.
• Manage Linux systems, KVM virtualization, secrecy management, logging.
• Implement/configure Puppet or Ansible.
• Maintain monitoring, alerts and backups; improve tooling in Python/Bash.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and travel to Switzerland 1–2x/year.
