Job summary

HumanIT Digital Consulting is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure/AWS) to build and operate the cloud foundation for AI initiatives. This hybrid Lisbon role focuses on delivering scalable, secure AI platforms and agentic workflows across the organization.

You will automate provisioning, implement IaC and CI/CD, and work closely with security, data engineering and local IT teams to drive production readiness. Strong Python/SQL and cross-country collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud-native development and deployment
• Strong Azure experience with practical AWS exposure
• Hands-on IaC, CI/CD, containerised workloads, monitoring & logging
• Solid Python and SQL skills to support APIs and data workflows
• Understanding of ETL, data pipelines, storage and integration patterns
• Experience in cross-functional, international teams and with local IT teams
• Comfort using GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor or OpenCode
• Fluent English (B2 minimum)

Responsibilities

• Build and operate cloud-native infrastructure for AI solutions and platforms
• Create reusable infrastructure, deployment, observability and environment patterns
• Automate provisioning, configuration, CI/CD, monitoring, logging and cost controls for AI workloads
• Support cloud architecture decisions for agentic workflows and data platforms
• Collaborate with security and data protection teams on identity, encryption and resilience
• Onboard country IT teams, connect systems and troubleshoot deployments
• Improve platform reliability and developer experience across the AI stack
