Job summary

Daikin Portugal seeks an Internal Service Engineer to join its Technical Help Desk in Paço de Arcos. You will provide advanced after-sales technical support for HVAC professionals, combining diagnostics, warranty management and training.

You will interpret electrical schematics, use diagnostic tools, quote parts, monitor repairs and share knowledge with junior staff. Fluent Portuguese and English, plus MS Office and CRM experience, are valued in this role within a leading international HVAC

Qualifications

• Vocational training in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or a degree in Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of HVAC installation, maintenance or technical support experience.
• Solid knowledge of refrigeration cycle and ability to interpret electrical schematics and control logic.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and analysis of error codes and operating parameters.
• Strong customer focus and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; CRM/ticketing familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced after-sales technical support via telephone, WhatsApp and email with fault diagnosis and corrective actions.
• Apply engineering knowledge to interpret electrical schematics and refrigeration cycle principles.
• Use diagnostic tools and perform structured analyses to identify root causes.
• Select and quote replacement parts and manage warranty repair processes.
• Monitor repair quality and coordinate with field service engineers and back-office teams.
• Develop technical documentation and deliver training to colleagues.
