Job summary

Daikin Europe NV is seeking an Internal Service Engineer Junior for the Technical Help Desk in Paço D'Arcos, Portugal. This entry-level role combines after-sales technical support with diagnostic learning and hands-on HVAC knowledge.

You will respond to technical requests via phone, email, and chat, collect installation data, and help diagnose faults while gaining expertise in refrigerating cycles, electrical diagrams and spare parts selection.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in air conditioning and refrigeration or a related engineering degree.
• Basic knowledge of refrigeration cycle, electricity and HVAC operation.
• Motivation to learn how to analyse error codes, operating parameters and diagrams.
• Good communication skills and customer orientation.

Responsibilities

• Respond to technical requests by telephone, WhatsApp and email with clear, solution-oriented support.
• Collect and organize technical information about installations and equipment.
• Support fault diagnosis and identify corrective actions under supervision.
• Interpret electrical diagrams and refrigeration cycle principles.
• Assist with spare parts selection and warranty assessments.
• Record interactions in CRM and ticketing systems.
