Job summary

Daikin Europe NV seeks a Junior Internal Service Engineer for the Technical Help Desk in Paço D'Arcos. You will provide after-sales technical support to HVAC professionals, using structured diagnostics and CRM records to guide responses.

Day-to-day tasks include handling technical requests, interpreting diagrams, assisting with spare parts, and contributing to technical documentation, with a path toward greater autonomy as you develop skills in Split, Multi-split, Sky Air, VRV or Chillers.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in air conditioning and refrigeration or a related degree.
• No professional experience required; internships or academic HVAC projects are valued.
• Basic knowledge of refrigeration cycle, electricity and HVAC operation.
• Motivation to learn to analyse error codes and electrical diagrams.
• Analytical, methodical with technical curiosity and problem-solving orientation.
• Good communication, teamwork and strong customer orientation.
• Proficient Portuguese and English; MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to technical requests by phone, WhatsApp and email with clear, solution-oriented support.
• Collect and organise relevant technical information about installations and equipment.
• Support fault diagnosis and identify corrective actions with supervision when needed.
• Learn to interpret electrical diagrams, control logic and refrigeration cycle principles.
• Support spare parts selection and quotation.
• Assist with warranty assessments and monitor repair quality.
• Record interactions and conclusions in CRM and ticketing systems.
• Contribute to technical documentation and training content; pursue ongoing development.
