Job summary

Quinta da Comporta Wellness Boutique Hotel is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping operation in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager. The role covers guest rooms, villas, and public areas, ensuring top standards and a seamless guest experience.

You will oversee the team, implement SOPs, manage schedules and payroll logistics, and coordinate with Front Office, Maintenance and other departments. Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.

• Hands-on and inspiring leader with housekeeping experience in a hotel.
• Strong operational, organisational and quality-control skills.
• Exceptional eye for detail and presentation.
• Strong communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Absolute discretion, professionalism and resilience.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English; additional languages are a plus.

ABOUT THE JOB

As Executive supervisorr, you will lead the Housekeeping operation during the absence of the Hskp Manager at Quinta da Comporta and play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience.

You will oversee the Housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards across guest rooms, villas, and public areas, from daily operations and quality control to VIP preparations and special requests.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading, organising and developing the Housekeeping team.
• Ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation and service.
• Overseeing room inspections, arrivals, departures and turndown.
• Implementing and maintaining Housekeeping SOPs and quality standards.
• Managing schedules, staffing, stock, linen and departmental administration.
• Working closely with Front Office, Maintenance and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards.
