Job summary

Quinta da Comporta Wellness Boutique Hotel is seeking an Executive Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping operation during the absence of the Housekeeping Manager. You will oversee the team and ensure top-tier cleanliness across guest rooms, villas and public areas, from daily operations to VIP preparations and special requests.

You will manage schedules, stock, and departmental administration, coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance, and uphold health, safety, and hygiene

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience in a hotel environment.
• Strong operational, organisational and quality-control skills.
• An exceptional eye for detail and presentation.
• Strong communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Absolute discretion, professionalism and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Leading, organising and developing the Housekeeping team.
• Ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation and service.
• Overseeing room inspections, arrivals, departures and turndown.
• Implementing and maintaining Housekeeping SOPs and quality standards.
• Managing schedules, staffing, stock, linen and departmental administration.
• Working closely with Front Office, Maintenance and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards.
