Job summary

La Compagnie Porto, Experimental's Porto opening, seeks a skilled Sommelier to deliver exceptional wine experiences. You will present and advise on bottles, manage service flow, and contribute to cellar operations.

You should have proven Sommelier experience, strong wine knowledge, and excellent interpersonal skills in Portuguese and English. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays is required. Training and mobility opportunities across venues are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sommelier or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of wines and wine service.
• Excellent interpersonal and guest-relations skills.
• Bilingual in Portuguese and English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and guide them to the right glass or bottle.
• Serve wines with care and share the story behind each bottle and region.
• Maintain knowledge of the wine list and by-the-glass selection.
• Perform end-of-service tasks and prep for next service.
• Monitor stock and assist with cellar management.
