Experimental Porto is opening La Compagnie Porto and seeks a Sommelier to deliver an exceptional wine experience—from presentation to cellar management. You will welcome guests and guide wine choices with confidence, maintaining knowledge of the wine list and sharing stories behind each bottle.

You communicate in Portuguese and English, ensure impeccable service, and train the team through tastings. Availability for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as a Sommelier or in a similar role.
• Excellent appearance, dynamic and motivated.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Aufgaben

• Welcome guests and guide them to the right glass or bottle.
• Serve wines with care and share the story behind each bottle.
• Maintain knowledge of the wine list and by-the-glass selection.
• Perform end-of-service tasks: cleaning and organizing the bar and floor.
• Keep work areas clean, maintained and functional.
• Share knowledge with the team through tastings and training.
• Help manage the wine cellar and bar stock, including placing orders.
• Monitor stock levels and proper storage of bottles.
