Job summary

Sovos is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to join our Sales Engineering team in the United Kingdom. You will guide discovery, design scalable tax/compliance solutions, and demonstrate the business value of Sovos platform to enterprise customers.

In this role, you will own responses to RFPs/RFIs, coordinate across global teams, and help shape account strategy while collaborating with Sales to advance deals. Occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Lead structured discovery sessions and map ERP landscapes to regulatory needs.
• Exposure to tax, compliance, regulatory, or finance domains is advantageous.
• Comfort operating autonomously across time zones with global teams.
• Excellent written and verbal English; willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex discovery sessions with global customers and map transaction flows and ERP landscapes.
• Design scalable, cross-border architectures and demonstrate business value of solutions.
• Influence senior stakeholders and collaborate with Sales to shape account strategy.
• Own responses for enterprise RFPs/RFIs and run tailored global demos.
• Collaborate with partners and internal teams to ensure smooth pre-sales to implementation.
• Contribute to pre-sales best practices, messaging, and competitive positioning.
• Leverage AI tools to improve discovery workflows and demo personalization.
