Job summary

1GLOBAL, a fast-growing telecom technology company, seeks a hands-on Payments Team Lead to own the internal payment gateway and ensure reliable, secure, and scalable payment solutions across providers. You will guide experienced developers and collaborate with Product, IT, Finance, Operations, and Billing to translate business needs into platform capabilities.

You will lead by example with technical guidance, code reviews, and architecture design, while ensuring payment processing accuracy,

Qualifications

• Proven technical leadership and coaching in a team lead or senior role.
• Experience building or operating scalable distributed systems.
• Strong hands-on Go development and API design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the payments engineering team, setting priorities and delivery plans.
• Own the technical direction for the payments domain and platform resilience.
• Design architectures and communicate technical implications clearly.
• Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and runbooks.
• Collaborate with Product, IT, Finance, Operations, and Billing.
