Lever, Inc. is seeking an Onboarding Operations Specialist based in Portugal to deliver a smooth, compliant onboarding experience for employees worldwide.

You will manage the end-to-end onboarding journey, from documentation to verification and employment packages, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. As part of a globally distributed EOR Operations team, you will collaborate with Mobility, Benefits, Lifecycle, Payroll and other partners, maintain data confidentiality, and drive process

Qualificações

• Strong operations experience in people/HR operations or related field.
• Solid understanding of employment contracts.
• Experience in fast-paced, cross-functional startups or scale-ups.
• Strong attention to detail with handling of sensitive information.
• Excellent business-level English communication.
• Strong organizational skills across multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently with distributed international teams.
• Comfort with asynchronous work and flexible hours.
• Tech-savvy with onboarding and collaboration tools.
• Familiarity with Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and Google Workspace.
• Experience maintaining knowledge bases.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset for continuous improvement.
• Additional languages are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the end-to-end onboarding journey for new employees.
• Own cases from initiation to completion and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with Mobility, Benefits, Lifecycle, and Payroll teams.
• Review and manage employment contracts and docs.
• Maintain employee data with emphasis on accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support compliance activities, audits, and data integrity.
• Monitor workflows and identify bottlenecks for improvement.
• Champion automation to reduce manual work and increase scalability.
• Maintain and update knowledge bases and operational content.
• Share insights and help implement onboarding improvements.
