We are seeking a General Manager for a major international experiences group to lead a landmark cultural and visitor destination in Portugal. This is a large-scale, is a large-scale visitor environment combining a range of guest experiences, including leisure, hospitality, cultural and commercial activities.

Reporting to the Group CEO, the General Manager will hold full responsibility for operational, commercial and strategic performance, leading a multidisciplinary team and driving the next phase of growth.

The ideal candidate is an internationally minded leader with experience in complex, experience-led environments, and a strong track record of balancing operational excellence with commercial delivery and long-term strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• 5+ years leading a complex leisure, tourism or experiential operation
• Strong P&L and commercial leadership experience
• Proven delivery in multi-revenue, high-footfall environments
• Ability to balance strategic and operational leadership
• Strong stakeholder and board-level communication skills
• Hands-on, visible leadership style with strong team development capability
• High resilience, energy and commercial mindset
• Strong understanding of visitor, events or experience-led operations
