Job summary

Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is seeking a Receptionist (M/F) for Tivoli Marina Vilamoura Algarve Resort. You will welcome guests, manage check-in/out, and coordinate with departments to ensure a seamless stay while promoting hotel services and promotions.

The role requires Front Office experience, fluency in Portuguese and English, and the ability to work in a dynamic hotel environment. On-site, full-time position with comprehensive front desk responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Previous Front Office experience, preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity.
• Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
• Fluency in local language and a high level of English.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, TMS and Front Office systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and complete check-in/check-out for individuals and groups.
• Manage room allocation considering guest characteristics (VIPs, regulars, etc.).
• Inform front office and other departments of guest requests, inquiries, or complaints.
• Promote hotel services, promotions, and up-selling opportunities.
• Handle reservations and provide information about local sights and events.
• Assist other departments as needed and support night audit activities if required.
