Job summary

Tivoli Hotels & Resorts is seeking a motivated Front Office Intern for Tivoli Marina Vilamoura Algarve Resort, Portugal. The internship offers hands-on exposure to Front Office, Guest Relations and Concierge with cross-training in Housekeeping.

Designed to align with your studies, the program emphasizes guest service, products knowledge and professional communication in English, with Portuguese preferred. Availability is six months, Feb/March 2027 start, across a premium resort experience.

Qualifications

• Currently studying Hotel Management or related field.
• EU passport and/or Swiss B Permit holder.
• English fluency; Portuguese preferred (not excluded).

Responsibilities

• Welcome and complete the check-in/out for guests and groups.
• Manage room allocation according to guest characteristics.
• Communicate guest requests and issues to front office and other departments.
• Display knowledge of hotel products, services, promotions and discounts.
• Be aware of hotel services and safety information.
• Maximize room occupancy at best rates and upsell opportunities.
• Handle incoming guest room reservations.
• Provide information about local attractions and events.
• Coordinate wake-up calls and night invoicing when needed.
