Job summary

Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is offering a Front Office Internship (M/F) at Tivoli Marina Vilamoura Algarve Resort in Portugal. You will rotate through Front Office, Guest Relations and Concierge, with potential Housekeeping cross-training, gaining hands-on hospitality experience.

The program is tailored to student objectives and focuses on guest service excellence and brand standards, providing exposure to operations, VIP handling, and local area information.

Qualifications

• Currently studying Hotel Management or related field.
• EU passport and/or Swiss B Permit holder.
• Availability of 6 Months - From February/March - August/September 2027

Responsibilities

• Welcome and complete the check-in process for all guests and group arrivals.
• Manage room allocation and coordinate with the correspondent department.
• Handle guest requests, inquiries, complaints and suggestions.
• Display knowledge of hotel products, services, promotions and VIP events.
• Inform guests about property and local sights and restaurants.
• Maximize room occupancy and upsell DISCOVERY loyalty program and services.
• Handle incoming guest room reservations.
• Provide information about the city and nearby attractions.
• Arrange transportation, reservations, or special services as needed.
• Follow brand standards and assist other departments as necessary.
• Inform guests of night services and manage invoicing during night shift.
• Run rounds and check for irregularities and security.
