Job summary

Minor Hotels Porto Jardim is seeking a Receptionist (M/F) to welcome guests, manage check-in/out, and ensure an exceptional stay in line with the brand’s service standards. You will handle room allocations, provide guest information, upsell services, and coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs.

You will also support night operations, including night audit activities and cash handling, while delivering warm, professional service in Portuguese and English.

Qualifications

• Experience in Front Office, preferably in a hotel of similar size.
• Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
• Fluency in local language (Portuguese) and high level of English.
• Working knowledge of hotel software and Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check-in/check-out guests in a timely, professional manner.
• Manage room allocations considering guest characteristics and VIPs.
• Inform front office and other departments of guest requests, inquiries, or complaints.
• Promote hotel services, promotions, and VIP events; upsell where appropriate.
• Provide information about the property and surrounding area to guests.
• Support night operations, including night audit reports and cash handling.
• Assist other departments as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
