Cross Border Talents is seeking a French-speaking Customer Service Advisor to support customers for an energy project in Guimarães, Portugal. The role is full-time and on-site with a potential remote option after 3–4 months, based on performance.

Responsibilities include handling inbound/outbound calls, managing requests through back-office channels, and solving problems with proactive, customer-focused service. Residence in Portugal is required.

Job description

We are looking for French-speaking Customer Service Advisors to join a growing energy project in Guimarães, Portugal. You will support customers with their enquiries, provide practical solutions and deliver a positive customer experience.

This is a full-time, on-site position, with the possibility of working remotely after 3 to 4 months, subject to meeting performance targets. Candidates must already be residing in Portugal.

Your responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls.
• Manage customer requests through back-office channels.
• Identify customer needs and provide appropriate advice and solutions.
• Handle complaints and objections professionally.
• Carry out sales-related activities according to the project's needs.
• Use different IT systems and digital tools to manage customer enquiries.

What we are looking for

• Excellent written and spoken French, at C1 or C2 level.
• Good computer skills and confidence using digital tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach to solving problems and supporting customers.
• Availability to work full time with rotating shifts.
• Previous experience in customer service, customer support, call centres, sales or advisory roles is an advantage.
• Current residence in Portugal and the legal right to work in the country.

Working hours

40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, with rotating shifts scheduled Monday to Saturday between 07:00 and 19:00.
