Job summary

EID S.A. in Portugal is seeking a skilled FP&A/Controlling professional to join our finance team. You will support annual budgets, forecasts and monthly closes for delivery projects while monitoring costs and margins to drive profitability.

You will review commercial terms, participate in gate and project reviews, reconcile SAP data, and build Power BI dashboards to empower management decisions. Fluency in English preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Controlling, FP&A or financial analysis.
• Degree in Economics, Management or similar field.
• Strong Excel modelling and analytics; English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support annual budget, forecasts and monthly close for delivery projects.
• Monitor costs and margins of ongoing projects.
• Review financial terms for commercial proposals.
• Participate in Commercial Gate Reviews and Project Reviews.
• Track risk, timelines, and delivery for projects.
• Provide data and reports to support management decisions.
• Support audits and ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Extract and reconcile financial data from SAP.
• Build dashboards using Power BI.
• Collaborate with PMO, Commercial, Controlling, Accounting.

What You'll Do

• Financial support for EID’s annual budget, forecasts and monthly closing activities, focusing on delivery projects
• Responsible for monitoring ongoing projects’ costs and margins
• Review of financial terms for commercial proposals
• Active participation in Commercial Gate Reviews and in Project Management Reviews
• Financial control, timeline and delivery tracking for project risk management
• Financial support for the renegotiation of ongoing contractsProvide financial data, analysis and reports to support management decisions
• Support audits and ensure data accuracy, consistency and compliance
• Extract, validate, and reconcile financial data from SAP
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI
• Work closely with PMO, Commercial, Controlling, Accounting and other business functions

What You'll Bring

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, or Financial Analysis
• Degree in Economics, Management or similar field
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Great command of Excel (MS Office), with complex modelling and analytics
• Good skills in PowerPoint for executive presentations
• Practical knowledge of Power BI for reporting and analysis
• Experience working with SAP (preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in English
