Job summary

EID is seeking a Production Testing Team Lead in Portugal to coordinate and supervise the production test team, ensuring quality, productivity, safety and timely delivery. The role requires hands-on expertise in electronics and telecommunications testing, with focus on documentation, KPI tracking, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will drive test readiness, analyze failures, provide diagnostics, and work with Engineering and QA to continuously improve test methods and equipment.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Mechatronics.
• At least 5 years in production and electronics/telecommunications.
• Experience with test tools and methodologies.
• Ability to analyze failures and perform diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the production test team ensuring quality, productivity, safety and delivery.
• Prepare and maintain Test Dossier and ensure test readiness.
• Monitor productivity and quality KPIs, report monthly.
• Provide technical support, diagnostics, and containment actions as needed.
• Collaborate with Production, Process, Engineering and Quality teams to improve test processes.

What You'll Do

As a Production Testing Team Lead, you'll coordinate, organise, and supervise the activities of the production test team, ensuring compliance with quality, productivity, safety, and delivery deadline objectives, and guaranteeing that all tested products meet the technical and regulatory requirements defined by the company.

Key Responsibilities

Team Coordination: Coordinate and distribute the daily activities of the test team, ensuring the correct allocation of human resources and test means. Orient the team with clear indication of work order priorities.

Test Readiness: Ensure the availability and operability of test documentation and test means. Prepare the Test Dossier and ensure compliance with the production plan and delivery objectives.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor the area's performance through productivity and quality indicators. Analyse failure, rejection, and rework indicators, and report test and quality KPIs on a monthly basis.

Technical Support & Diagnostics: Technically support the team in fault analysis and resolution, validate complex diagnostics, and define containment actions. Verify Manufacturing and Catalogue IMTE (EIME in Portuguese).

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the Production, Process, Engineering, and Quality teams on the resolution of technical problems and on reducing test times. Participate in the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Contribute to the continuous improvement of test processes, equipment, and methods.

What You'll Bring

• Minimum 5 years of experience in production and electronics/telecommunications areas
