Hiire is supporting a leading Portuguese technology company operating in a highly specialized and regulated sector, recruiting a Junior System Engineer to join its team.

You will analyze customer needs, translate them into system requirements, troubleshoot across software, hardware, and integrated systems, and contribute to design and documentation of architectures, with a focus on robust communications networks.

Qualificações

• University degree in Electronic/Communications Engineering or related field.
• Solid understanding of radio and digital communications.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Experience producing clear technical documentation.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

What You’ll Do

• Analyze customer needs and translate them into clear, structured system requirements;

• Evaluate how existing systems can support new and evolving requirements;

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues across software, hardware, and integrated systems;

• Contribute to the design and documentation of system architectures, including both high-level and low-level designs;

• Support the implementation and optimization of communication and network infrastructures.

What You’ll Bring

• A university degree (or equivalent experience) in Electronic Engineering, Communications Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field;

• Solid understanding of radio and digital communication systems;

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues and identify root causes;

• Experience producing clear technical documentation at both high and low levels;

• Strong communication skills in both Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
