Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Field Service Technician - Turbines/Generator in Portugal. The role involves hands-on mechanical work during maintenance and installation of gas and steam turbines and generators, with international travel and collaboration across diverse teams.

You will read technical drawings in English, work to health and safety standards, and support customers worldwide from a hybrid field-service setup in Portugal.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical technician experience.

You will perform hands-on mechanical work, ensuring the efficient installation and maintenance of these critical energy systems. What You Bring

• You have experience working as a hands-on mechanical technician.
• You have a technical (not bachelor) diploma in Mechanical or Electromechanical engineering.
• Your background includes valuable experience with Gas and Steam Turbines or Generators.
• You possess an intermediate level of English proficiency, enabling you to read and understand technical drawings.
• You are willing to travel and work globally, embracing the challenges of field service.
• Your team player mentality allows you to work effectively and communicate with diverse teams.
