Aubay Portugal seeks a Facilities Manager to lead daily facilities operations, oversee vendors, and maintain critical corporate assets. The role emphasizes health & safety, compliance, and a proactive, service‑oriented approach.

The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years in facilities management, fluent English and Portuguese, and a hands‑on, proactive mindset aligned with Aubay’s culture and ethics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, or civil) or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Facilities Management within a corporate environment.
• Professional training in Occupational Health & Safety, minimum level VI, is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese is essential, strong communication and planning skills.
• Legal right to work in Portugal at the time of application.

What will you do?

• Manage and oversee daily facilities operations, including both soft services (e.g., cleaning, reception, surveillance) and hard services (e.g., preventive and corrective maintenance).
• Coordinate and supervise external vendors and suppliers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with contracts and regulations.
• Ensure all essential assets, such as HVAC units, plumbing, and electrical systems, are maintained in top condition for a seamless office experience.
• Implement and monitor robust health and safety protocols, ensuring a secure working environment and adherence to legal and internal guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the overall employee experience, aligning office environments with company culture and promoting productivity.
• Proactively contribute to the standardization of facility management procedures and the implementation of sustainability initiatives across all offices.
