Job summary

Siemens in Portugal is seeking a System Test Engineer – EV Charging Station to oversee system and interoperability testing of EVSE. You will plan and execute tests, automate test environments, and contribute to certification processes while collaborating with development engineers.

Candidates should have a degree in electrical engineering, knowledge of e-mobility, defect tracking/test management tools, strong communication, willingness to travel Europe, and be able to work mostly onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in electrical engineering or similar field.
• Experience with e-mobility concepts and interoperable systems is preferred.
• Practical knowledge of defect tracking tools and test management systems.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; willingness to travel in Europe.

Responsibilities

• Plan tests and execute activities to improve test strategy and metrics.
• Automate test environments and evaluate test results with the team.
• Develop and update Test Plans, Procedures and Reports for projects.
• Configure test tools according to the test strategy and support CE type testing.
