Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Engineering Manager, Automation Intelligence based in Portugal. You will lead a high‑impact team building an AI‑driven platform to distinguish legitimate AI agents from malicious bots.

The role focuses on delivering robust detection, scalable APIs, and an AI-native development model in a fully remote setup. You will collaborate with product leadership, guide beta to GA, and establish quality processes.

Qualifications

• At least three years of engineering management experience delivering products from beta to launch.
• Strong technical foundation with software design, PR reviews, and architectural trade-offs.
• Experience in bot detection, fraud prevention, web security, or high‑volume APIs is highly valued.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams including product managers and researchers.
• Hands‑on experience with AI coding tools and agent-based development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering roadmap from beta to GA and commercial launch.
• Define service reliability targets, SLAs, and performance benchmarks.
• Establish a continuous detection quality framework with test datasets and monitoring.
• Guide AI agent ecosystems, classification systems, and APIs for enterprise use.
• Lead the team, hire as needed, and set ownership and accountability norms.
• Communicate progress and trade-offs clearly to leadership and partners.
