DataCamp in Portugal is seeking an Engineering Manager who can lead a cross-functional product engineering team responsible for scalable systems powering millions of learners.

You will drive a culture of ownership, partner with Product and Design, mentor engineers, and push the use of AI-native tooling to speed prototyping while maintaining quality. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-moving, international start-up.

Qualificações

• 7+ years building software across the stack with scalable design.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams and guiding growth.
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments and ownership culture.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality software in cross-functional teams.
• Experience with AI-native tooling and integrating advanced tooling is a plus.
• Strong product mindset with pragmatic decision-making.

• Build and develop a high-performing full-stack team with autonomy.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of high-quality software.
• Set a high bar for agentic tooling to accelerate prototyping.
• Partner with Product and Design to define and execute the roadmap.
