Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager based in Portugal. You will coordinate complex engineering initiatives across central services, DevOps, and data teams in a real-money gaming environment, bringing clarity, structure, and accountability to delivery.

You will lead a small team of contract engineers, automate workflows via APIs, and develop dashboards and AI-enabled tooling to improve collaboration and visibility across the engineering

Qualifications

• Professional software development experience with focus on technical program management.
• Ability to read code, write scripts, and collaborate with engineering teams.
• Experience automating workflows, calling APIs, and building reporting solutions.
• Practical experience using AI tools with good judgment about their strengths, limitations, and appropriate applications.
• Experience delivering release or delivery reporting for a software team.
• Experience leading engineers or a small technical team.
• Strong prioritization and clear written communication.
• Calm, dependable leadership that encourages proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-functional engineering delivery with clear priorities and visibility into progress.
• Manage intake and triage for central services, DevOps, and data teams.
• Maintain a consolidated view of ongoing initiatives to coordinate parallel work.
• Track releases and communicate shipped status, progress, and blockers with clear explanations.
• Identify stalled initiatives, resolve bottlenecks, and address delivery issues.
• Lead a small team of contract engineers with priorities and performance feedback.
• Automate workflows by integrating systems via APIs and tools.
• Develop dashboards and AI-enabled workflows to improve productivity and coordination.
• Oversee core delivery practices including planning, commitments, retrospectives, release ownership.
