A CEiiA, centro de engenharia e desenvolvimento de produtos em Matosinhos, Porto, procura Engenheiro Backend Developer para integrar a geoSystems e desenvolver tecnologia de ponta para espaço. A função envolve CI/CD, documentação, conformidade com requisitos de segurança e desempenho, bem como desenvolvimento em Java e soluções cloud.

Requisitos incluem licenciatura/mestrado em áreas de computação ou engenharia, 3+ anos de experiência, domínio de APIs (RESTful/RPC/GraphQL), bases de dados, Git e

Competenze

• Diploma or degree in CS/CE/EE/related fields
• Experiência de pelo menos 3 anos em desenvolvimento de software
• Competência em linguagens OOP (Java, Go) e frameworks JVM
• Conhecimento sólido de API RESTful, RPC ou GraphQL
• Conhecimento sólido de bases de dados relacionais e não relacionais
• Proficiente em Git e pipelines CI/CD
• Experiência com brokers de mensagens (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS)
• Capacidade de escrever código limpo, com testes unitários e de integração
• Boa compreensão de CI/CD e boas práticas de engenharia de software
• Inglês bom falado/escrito
• Decisão e trabalho em equipa

This opportunity is for an Engineer | Backend Developer to join the geoSystems Business Unit, to develop and produce state-of-the-art technology for Space.

Descrição do emprego

• Apply continuous integration (CI) strategies and platforms, as well as automated testing tools and procedures;
• Prepare and maintain development documentation;
• Ensure that software development complies with established requirements, including but not limited to security, scalability, and performance. Actively contribute to product design, technical architecture, and implementation, while adhering to CEiiA's software development standards and processes;
• Develop software usingJava and cloud-based solutions.

Habilitações

• Degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related areas;
• At least3 years of experience insoftware development;
• Proficiency in any OOP languages and derivates (Java, Go, others);
• Experience developing with JVM-based Frameworks;
• Solid knowledge in API RESTful, RPC or GraphQL;
• Solid knowledge of relational and non-relational databases;
• Proficient in using Git for version control;
• Experience with message brokers and event streaming systems (e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ or NATS);
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, performant, and scalable code, with a strong emphasis on best practices and architectural patterns (TDD, DDD, clean architecture);
• Capacity to design and implement unit and integration tests;
• Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines;
• Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment;
• Structured, self-organized and collaborative way of working;
• Creativity and aptitude for problem-solving and critical thinking;
• Good level of spoken and written English;
• Decision making and team management.

Desirable (no excludable):

• Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure);
• Experience with load testing (K6, JMeter);
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and metrics tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK Stack);
• Experience with critical, high-availability and scalable systems;
• Experience with real-time systems.
