A CEiiA // Centre of Engineering and Product Development procura engenheiro(a) de software com foco em Java e soluções cloud, para contribuir com estratégias de CI, documentação e conformidade com requisitos de segurança, escalabilidade e desempenho. Qualifications

• Formação superior em áreas afins; requisitos descritos.
• Pelo menos 3 anos de experiência em desenvolvimento de software.
• Conhecimento de linguagens orientadas a objetos (Java, Go, etc.).
• Experiência com frameworks baseados em JVM.
• Conhecimento sólido de API RESTful, RPC ou GraphQL.
• Conhecimentos de bases de dados relacionais e não relacionais.
• Proficiente em Git.
• Experiência com brokers de mensagens e streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS).
• Capacidade de escrever código limpo, escalável, com TDD/DDD/clean architecture.
• Capacidade de desenhar e testar unidades e integrações.
• Conhecimentos de pipelines CI/CD.
• Capacidade de adaptação a ambientes dinâmicos.
• Metódico, organizado e colaborativo.
• Criatividade e pensamento crítico.
• Bom nível de inglês falado/escrito.
• Capacidade de tomada de decisão e gestão de equipa.

Responsibilities

• Aplicar CI/CI pipelines e ferramentas de testes automatizados.
• Preparar e manter documentação de desenvolvimento.
• Assegurar conformidade com requisitos, incluindo segurança, escalabilidade e performance, contribuindo para design de produto, arquitetura técnica e implementação.
• Desenvolver software usando Java e soluções cloud.

Job description

Descrição do emprego

• Apply continuous integration (CI) strategies and platforms, as well as automated testing tools and procedures;
• Prepare and maintain development documentation;
• Ensure that software development complies with established requirements, including but not limited to security, scalability, and performance. Actively contribute to product design, technical architecture, and implementation, while adhering to CEiiA's software development standards and processes;
• Develop software using Java and cloud-based solutions.

Habilitações

• Degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related areas;
• At least 3 years of experience in software development;
• Proficiency in any OOP languages and derivates (Java, Go, others);
• Experience developing with JVM-based Frameworks;
• Solid knowledge in API RESTful, RPC or GraphQL;
• Solid knowledge of relational and non-relational databases;
• Proficient in using Git for version control;
• Experience with message brokers and event streaming systems (e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ or NATS);
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, performant, and scalable code, with a strong emphasis on best practices and architectural patterns (TDD, DDD, clean architecture);
• Capacity to design and implement unit and integration tests;
• Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines;
• Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment;
• Structured, self-organized and collaborative way of working;
• Creativity and aptitude for problem-solving and critical thinking;
• Good level of spoken and written English;
• Decision making and team management.

Desirable (no Excludable)

• Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure);
• Experience with load testing (K6, JMeter);
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and metrics tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK Stack);
• Experience with critical, high-availability and scalable systems;
• Experience with real-time systems.
