Job summary

CTS Europe in Lisbon is seeking a Document Controller to implement and manage document control procedures for electrical engineering projects. This role ensures that all project documentation is accurate, traceable, compliant with company and client standards, and easily accessible to authorized personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Construction, Administration, or a related field.
• Familiarity with engineering deliverables.
• Experience in using document management software.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Document Management & Control: Implement and maintain document control procedures and policies specific to electrical engineering projects. Ensure all documents comply with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Document Accuracy & Compliance: Coordinate with electrical design engineers, other departments, and external parties to ensure document accuracy, completeness, and compliance with the document management system.
• Accessibility, Security & Reporting: Update, archive, and ensure accessibility of all documents in accordance with company policies. Generate and present reports on document status, revisions, and compliance to management.
• Training & Support: Train staff on the document management system and related procedures.
• Authorities: Document Approval & Issuance: Approve internal project documents, drawings, and revisions for release within the document management system.
• Audit & Compliance: Audit project documents and drawings to ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Reporting & Communication: Report document status, revisions, compliance issues, and audit findings to management.
• Guidance & Training: Provide guidance and training to project staff on proper document management practices, workflows, and system usage.
