Job summary

CTS Group in Lisbon/Porto is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to the design and build of large-scale data centers. You will work closely with senior engineers to develop electrical systems, calculations, schematics and drawings, using AutoCAD, Revit and related tools.

Location is on-site in Lisbon or Porto with a focus on power distribution, lighting and control systems, while following IEC/NFPA standards and maintaining project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in electrical design or related engineering functions.
• Knowledge of power distribution, lighting and control systems.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit or other software such as Febdok, ETAP or EPLAN.
• Awareness of electrical safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with project documentation and multidisciplinary projects is valued.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the design and specification of electrical systems and components.
• Developing electrical calculations, schematics and detailed drawings.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate electrical systems with other disciplines.
• Applying IEC and NFPA standards and regulatory requirements.
• Preparing, updating and maintaining technical project documentation.
• Supporting other engineers in solving technical challenges and developing effective design solutions.
