Job summary

Closer Consulting in Lisbon is seeking a Project Manager (KYC/AML & Data Migration) to drive data-centric initiatives in a hybrid work setting.

You will lead complex migrations, automate reporting with PowerBI, and orchestrate IT and business stakeholders across Compliance, Operations and Audit.

Fluency in English is required; join a diverse team delivering world-class solutions for banking and fintech clients.

• Solid expertise leading complex, legacy-to-target system migrations.
• Demonstrated track record in delivering automation reporting suites.
• High technical literacy with governance, KPIs, risks and scope changes.
• Strong stakeholder orchestration between IT and senior business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in English (Expert level).

Responsibilities

• Lead data-centric project management, driving roadmaps and data governance.
• Oversee legacy-to-target migrations (e.g., Cerise to Golden Source).
• Deliver automation reporting suites, transitioning to PowerBI.
• Manage technical governance, KPIs, risks, and scope changes.
• Coordinate between IT/developers and senior business stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with an analytical mindset.

• Proven experience in Data-Centric Project Management, driving strategic roadmaps and data governance.
• Solid expertise leading complex, legacy-to-target system migrations (e.g., Cerise to Golden Source).
• Demonstrated track record in delivering automation reporting suites, specifically transitioning manual/ad-hoc reporting to PowerBI.
• High technical literacy with the ability to manage technical project governance, KPIs, risks, and scope changes.
• Strong stakeholder orchestration skills, acting as a bridge between IT/developers and senior business stakeholders (Compliance, Operations, Audit).
• Excellent communication, analytical mindset, and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in English (Expert level required).
