Closer Consulting in Lisbon seeks an Application Production Support Engineer for the Banking sector to manage incidents, monitor systems, and support releases in a hybrid work model.

The role requires 4+ years in production support, strong SQL and ITSM skills, and collaboration with Dev, BA and Infra teams. Banking domain experience is a plus; ITIL certification is preferred.

• +4 years of experience
• Manage and resolve production incidents, requests, changes, and problems
• Monitor applications and infrastructure to ensure service continuity
• Support releases, deployments, and production testing activities
• Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Infrastructure teams
• Contribute to automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Key Skills: SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL or Sybase) | Linux/Unix and Windows Server | ITSM / ServiceNow / Jira | Application or Production Support experience | Incident Management and troubleshooting skills
• Nice to Have: Banking or financial services experience | Monitoring, DevOps, Jenkins, Ansible, Dynatrace | Networking, Security, Cloud, or Infrastructure knowledge
• ITIL Certification
