Job summary

WLG seeks a senior Training & Capability Analyst to turn ambitions into concrete training plans backed by data analysis. You will map skill requirements to existing courses, extend mappings to SFIA, and ensure plans stay current.

You will lead end-to-end analysis for the data/AI function and report on progress to executives. The role requires a structured approach to training design, strong data analysis, and experience with learning management systems.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in education-related field with post-degree experience.
• Structured approach to training design and systems thinking applied to workforce planning.
• Experience mapping roles and competencies to training plans using data.
• Ability to map workforce competencies using the Skills Framework for the Information Age.
• Understanding of how large organisations structure education and training facilities.

Responsibilities

• Map identified skill requirements against available education and training offerings.
• Extend analysis to map data/AI posts to SFIA framework.
• Review digital training plan for accuracy and currency.
• Run end-to-end training requirements analysis for data/AI domain.
• Write the training requirements analysis report for project evaluation.
• Represent the discipline at industry engagement events.
• Produce monthly situation reporting and quarterly programme of work reporting.
