Descrição da oferta de emprego

A multinational defence organisation is working out how to grow data and artificial intelligence skills right across its workforce. This post belongs to the person who turns that ambition into a concrete training plan, backed by analysis rather than by assumption.

What you would be doing
  • Mapping the identified skill requirements in the discipline against the education and training already on offer, and naming plainly where it falls short.
  • Extending an earlier analysis so that data and artificial intelligence posts are mapped to the Skills Framework for the Information Age.
  • Reviewing the newly introduced digital training plan for accuracy and currency, taking in lessons learned and where the discipline is visibly heading.
  • Running the training requirements analysis cycle end to end for the data and artificial intelligence functional area — the preparatory meeting, the collection of requirements and opportunities, and the working groups that settle them.
  • Writing the training requirements analysis report the project will be judged on.
  • Representing the discipline at the annual industry engagement and planning events.
  • Producing the monthly situation reporting and the quarterly programme of work reporting.
What you would bring
  • A master's degree in education and training, learning sciences, data science or information systems with post‑degree experience behind it, or a bachelor's in the same fields with more.
  • A solid track record with a structured approach to training design — a systems approach to training, or a comparable methodology used seriously.
  • Strong analytical habits: reading large volumes of organisational data on roles, competencies and trends, and drawing something usable out of it.
  • Proven use of the Skills Framework for the Information Age to assess, map or develop workforce competencies.
  • An understanding of how a large military organisation is structured, how its education and training facilities work, and how capability development actually runs.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation and with data and artificial intelligence concepts, and the ability to translate a technology trend into what it means for people and posts.
  • Confident English in writing and in the room: reading strategic documentation and producing material an executive audience will read.
  • Comfort with office automation tools, collaboration portals and workflow features, and hands‑on time with learning management systems.
  • Demonstrable competence in identifying training requirements and writing performance objectives, and the autonomy to carry the work without being steered.
  • Nice to have: quality assurance inside an education and training environment, practical knowledge of military communication and information systems, and time spent in an international setting with both military and civilian colleagues.

Extensions are offered where the work goes well. Applications are reviewed as they arrive.
