Job summary

Amaris Consulting in Portugal is seeking a cybersecurity consultant to join our security practice in Lisbon. You will design and implement protections for client systems, perform assessments, and help build robust security postures.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in cyber security, knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and hands-on use of SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners. English fluent; French a plus. This is a hybrid role with opportunities across sectors.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of cyber security or information security experience.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
• Experience with security tools: SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or related field.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security measures to protect communication systems.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client infrastructures.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and threats.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Advise clients on best practices for cyber security and risk mitigation.
• Support the integration of security solutions into existing IT environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure project delivery.

Your missions
