Cross Border Talents, recruiting on behalf of a leading global customer service provider, seeks a French & English Customer Support Specialist (Car Rental Service) on-site in Porto, Portugal. You will handle inquiries across the rental journey, from reservations to post-rental support.

Requirements include native or high fluency in French with strong English skills, full-time on-site work in Porto, and 1+ year of contact center experience.

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global customer service provider for a French & English Customer Support Specialist (Car Rental Service) based on-site in Porto, Portugal. In this role, you will provide personalized assistance for a leading European car rental brand, handling customer inquiries across the entire rental journey—from reservations to post-rental support.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized customer support via phone, email, and messaging channels.


• Assist clients with pre-rental inquiries, bookings, and reservation details.


• Identify business opportunities by suggesting additional services and modalities tailored to customer needs.


• Provide ongoing support during active rental periods and handle post-rental matters, including billing, invoicing, and damage reports.


• Resolve client issues and conflicts efficiently while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

Requirements

• Language Proficiency: Native or high fluency in French, alongside strong English skills.


• Work Model & Location: Readiness to work On-site in Porto, Portugal.


• Schedule: Full-time Monday to Friday (rotative shifts between 07:00 and 18:00, or fixed 08:00 to 17:00). Fixed Weekends Off (Saturday & Sunday).


• Experience: 1+ years of contact center or customer service experience is preferred.


• Skills: Strong digital literacy, sales orientation, active listening, and conflict-resolution abilities.
