Doxis Software Solutions Middle East Ltd. is looking for a Cloud Support Analyst in Porto. You will resolve issues for customers using our Doxis software, collaborating with various departments and delivering cloud tenants.

The Cloud Support Analyst role is for people who are passionate about helping others. You will communicate with our Cloud Manager and customers in a variety of industries, working with them to resolve any type of issue that arises from using our Doxis software as a service.

This is how you succeed

• You will run incident resolution and facilitate collaboration with other departments as needed
• You will review Doxis Cloud system diagnostics, investigate system performance issues, monitor availability and document issues as appropriate to meet applicable SLAs
• You will create scripts for operational automation and incident response
• You will work with development teams and professional services to resolve more complex issues
• You will deliver and deploy cloud tenants to new customers via public clouds
• You will contribute to the SOC2 certification process using industry standard methodologies
• You will integrate cloud tenants with the customer’s premises and users via the web

This is what you bring to Doxis

• You have a university or BTEC diploma in Information Technology, or in a related technology field or equivalent education
• You ideally have experience in software support
• You have an interest in the following areas:
  • Systems administration in Linux/Unix and Windows
  • Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.)
  • Experience with some scripting languages such as Shell, Ruby, Python, etc.
• Initial experience in the following areas is desirable:
  • AWS or Azure services
  • Exposure to security concepts/best practices
  • Expertise in IPsec, VPN, load balancing, routing protocols, SSH, network monitoring/troubleshooting tools
  • Experience with disaster recovery concepts and corresponding backup/restore policies
• You are passionate about learning about the latest technologies and are willing to be available for on-call support, including overnight
• You enjoy working in a team and communicating in English
