Decskill in Lisbon is seeking an experienced C++ Developer to build and evolve financial software on Summit, combining strong technical development with business understanding in a hybrid Lisbon office. You will design service-oriented integrations across internal and external banking systems, write clean code with reviews and testing, and contribute to documentation and DevOps tasks.

This role offers long-term projects with national and international context and opportunities to grow

Qualificações

• At least 5 years as a C/C++ Developer.
• Strong experience with C++, C#, Shell scripting, SQL and Git.
• Nice to have French B2 and/or Portuguese C2.

We would like to meet a C++ Developer for a project with a hybrid working model in Lisbon, Portugal (2x/week at the office).

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve financial software on Summit
• Design service-oriented integrations across internal & external banking systems
• Combine technical development + business understanding (core to the role)
• Write clean code + ensure quality through: code reviews (auto & manual) + functional & unit testing
• Maintain solid documentation (JIRA, Confluence)
• Improve testing (non-regression) and dev efficiency tools
• Support DevOps tasks when needed

First Year Focus

• Ramp up on Summit SDK & ecosystem
• Understand IT architecture & financial domain
• Integrate fully into team practices and delivery processes

Requirements

• At least 5 years as a C/C++ Developer
• Strong experience with C++, C#, Shell scripting, SQL, and Git
• Solid understanding of service-oriented architectures and system integration
• Interest in combining technical development with business understanding
• French B2 and/or Portuguese C2 (nice to have)

Nice to Have

• Experience with Summit SDK (strong plus)
• Knowledge of Python, Jenkins, Digital.ai (XLDeploy), Artifactory
• Understanding of Back Office processes (clearing, payments, accounting, confirmations)
• Knowledge of financial products: interest rates, FX, credit derivatives, options
• Experience in testing and mapping business processes and protocols
