Decskill is seeking a .NET Backend Developer for a project based in Porto with a hybrid working model (2x/week). The role requires 3–5 years of backend experience with .NET, strong SQL Server skills, and REST API proficiency. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required, along with English at B2 level.

You will join a collaborative IT consulting team delivering robust backend solutions and engaging in production incident resolution, documentation, and testing activities.

• Strong experience with SQL Server and database integration (ORMs such as Entity Framework, ADO.NET).

We would like to meet a .NET Backend Developer for a project with a hybrid working model based in Porto (2x/week).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in backend development with .NET.
• Solid experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET and MVC.
• Solid experience with SQL Server (writing and optimizing queries, stored procedures, views).
• Knowledge of database integration (ORMs such as Entity Framework, ADO.NET, or similar).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments.
• Knowledge of REST API/Web Services architecture.
• Proficiency in English - minimum B2 level (mandatory).

Responsibilities:

• Perform functional and technical analysis of complex problems.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize software components in .NET Core.
• Integrate and interact with SQL Server databases.
• Implement application fixes and improvements.
• Execute and monitor testing activities.
• Produce and maintain related technical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including development, implementation, support, and quality.
